Hello from Puppy Girl - Naughty news!

Hello my furry friends!

Oh my goodness!  I have so much to tell you since I last wrote to you

I can't even remember all the stuff!

Mama and Dada are still pretty weird.

But Dada does some amazing stuff in the The Food Place.  Mmmmmm... it all smells so good!  Yesterday Dada did something with chicken and sausages.  I love chicken!  I love sausages!

So, anyway, Dada did the stuff and then put all this other stuff in a big thing that feels hot and sits there for hours and hours.  Then he went out the Den and got in the Moving Den!

Well, you know what that means, don't you?  He he he!

I got up and found the thing that still smelt of chicken and sausages and I licked up all the yummy fatty salty stuff.  Yum!  My brother is such a wuss that he won't climb up in The Food Place so he just stood there and watched me eat!  Nyah hah!

Then Mama and Dada came home and they had their Dinnertime and then they went back in The Food Place with their dinner bowls and Dada said to Mama:

"Did you clean up---"

And then he stopped.

Well, you see, I hadn't managed to get to all the yummy fatty salty stuff because some of it was far back in the Food Bowl that Dada puts on the big box that gets hot and, because of my lapping, some of the yummy fatty salty stuff flew out of the Food Bowl.

Dada and Mama had a long conversation about me and looked at me.  Dada said something about too late to discipline because I wasn't doing anything right now and Mama said something about me being naughty.

But they didn't say anything to me!  HAHA!

It was so yummy and nice and fatty and slippery and salty and yummy!

But the rest of the night wasn't so nice.  My tummy got sore and the fatty salty stuff was not so yummy and it started to come up my throat.  I had to cough it up before we went Bedtime and then I had to get up in the middle of the night to cough up some more.  Mama said something about serving me right.  I don't know how you serve a right.  I thought right is the way you run when you turn to the side?

Mama and Dada are soooo strange.

What else can I tell you?

Oh yes!

We went to a new water place the other day!  There was a huuuuuuge place where you could play in the water and there was nice wet sand.  Dada threw the Evil Ball that Must be Caught and Killed into the water, like he always does for me, and I jumped in!

It was cold but I love to swim 'cos it's fun!

But that water was a bit strange.  It wasn't like the other water I've been in.  It tasted strange and kept moving!

This one time I was swimming back to Dada with the Evil Ball that Must be Caught and Killed in my mouth and the moving water sorta carried me up and then it fell on my head!

And Mama and Dada were standing on the wet sand laughing!

They are sooooo weird.

But sometimes my brother and I get sneaky on Mama and Dada.  HAHA!

Dada took us to one of the parks we always go to and we walked around the dry part and we chased the Evil Ball that Must be Caught and Killed again and again!!!! It was awesome!

But then Dada took us back to the place where all the Moving Dens were, but we're not stupid, my brother and I.  Well, actually, sometimes he can be really stupid, like being too wussy to stand up and get the yummy fatty salty stuff with me, but... anyway...

So Dada tried to get us to go back to the Moving Den but, when we are at the place where all the Moving Dens are, we know exactly how to get to the water, so off we went!  HAHA!  Then we were swimming (flat water this time - thank dog), and having such fun together!

But then Dada found us - darn it!  And he made us come out of the water and go to the moving den and said something about no towel and we were very naughty.

I am so tired of being told I am naughty!  I am NOT naughty!

OK.  Maybe I am.

Sometimes.

A leeeeetle bit.

But it's so much FUN!

HAHAHAHAHA!

Lots of licks and woofs,

Puppy Girl.

Hello from Puppy Girl - Fashionista

Hello Mama's friends!

It's been a very annoying week.

Annoying like a cat meowing at you from behind a fence.  Or a squirrel staring at you from a high branch in a tree.  Or a Chihuahua barking at you from his mother's handbag.

First I had a sore foot, which was fine, because I have three other paws I can walk on if I need to.  But then Dada took me to the Vet Lady and she put some strange hairless ape furs on my leg.

She made me sore.

It was very annoying.

Then I kinda had some fun with my new friend, the Pink Squirrel, who shoots rainbows out his bum, but then the furs on my leg started to itch.

So I chewed them off.

Well, Dada was very, very cross with me.

I don't understand why.

I mean, of course I chewed the furs off.  They were itchy and it was hot and I didn't like them!

Dada was being very annoying.

But then Dada took me back to the Vet Lady and they put more strange furs on me!

And this time they're different colors and in a funny design!

Not funny-ha-ha.

Funny-peculiar.

The lady who put it on took a very, very long time to do it.  Much longer than last time.  She kept giggling.

It was very annoying.

See what I mean?

It's been a horrible week!

And now Mama and Dada are laughing at the new strange furs.

Dada said something about "Converse" and Mama said:

"Ha!  At $600, that's a designer shoe."

I'm a DOG.

I don't wear shoes.

Mama and Dada are very, very annoying.

Hi from Puppy Girl - Pink Squirrel

Hi everyone!

Hi-yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Helllllll-oooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm Puppy Girl!

It's the second time I'm talking to you and I--

Hello Pink Squirrel!  You have a very, very fluffy tail.  How are you today?

Oh, that's good.  Well, sorry, but I'm talking to my Mama's friends.

Yes, OK, we'll talk later.

Sorry about that.  Where was I?

Oh yes...

Hello again!

I had a very fun weekend!  We went to Tasha's house to play with her and Theo.  Tasha's daddy was throwing the ball for us and we were chasing it!  It was such fun!

But then I ran and turned around and I---

What, Pink Squirrel?  No, I don't want a rainbow, thank you.  I'm busy.

Well, yes, that does look good, but why is it coming out of your bum?

Really?  That's interesting...

OK, I'm sorry but I have to go---

Pink Squirrel?

Where'd he go?

Just disappeared!  How rude!

Sorry about that.  So, anyway... I was running and then I turned funny and I hurt my foot.  It was very, very sore, and I had to walk on three legs.

But it felt a bit better after a day or two.

But then Dada took me to see the Vet man.  And they did funny things and when I woke up I was really sore!  It was horrible!

I was crying and crying!

But then Dada and Mama talked about "vallum" and gave me some knobbly peanut butter and I feel a lot better now.

And there's my new friend, the Pink Squirrel, who's been visiting me.  Sometimes he floats on a little green cloud, and sometimes he has yellow smoke coming out of his ears.

Then he did the rainbow-bum thing, which was a bit strange, but he's very nice to me.

Also, I'm very sleepy.

So I am going to nap now.  But it was nice to chat to you guys again--

What, Pink Squirrel?  You're going read me a bedtime story?  That's nice!  Can it have lots of bones in it?

Really?  Wow...

Hi from Puppy Girl - Potty Time

What, Mama?

You want me to go potty?

Well, I don't think I need to go.

Yes, Mama, I can see the back door is open.  I'm just not sure if I...

Hang on, maybe I do need to go.  I can't always tell, you see, Mama.  I'm too busy playing.

OK, Mama, OK!  I'm going!  You don't need to put your hand on my butt and push!

Hmm, smells interesting out here... neighbor over there's cut his grass, there was a cat on the fence a few hours ago, there's a bird over there who is mocking me.

Watch out, bird!  I can jump!

Wait.

Why am I out here?  I'm sure there was a reason for---

MAMA!  Are you doing something with FOOD?  I heard the clank of a dish!

Mama?

Mama?

Is that food?

Food?

Food?

Mama?

Food?

Oh, you're just putting water in our water bowl.

Boring.

OK, what was I doing...

Um...

I know I was outside...

Wait?  What's that tickle?

Oops!  I gotta pee!

...

Aaaaah....  that feels good.

Thank goodness the back door was open!

Hi from Puppy Girl - My new home

Hi everyone!

My name is Puppy Girl and I am new to this pack.

I don't know why, but one day some people came to my happy litter and took me away.  It was very scary.  But then they introduced me to my big brother and they were nice to me, so I decided it was a benevolent kidnapping.

My new den is smaller than my old one, and the yard outside is tiny.  I can see that there are a lot of exciting things close by though, so I started digging my way to freedom under the fence yesterday.  Mama and Dada found my escape tunnel, though, and they were very unhappy with me.

Sigh.

I mean, I promise to come back!  Why can't I just go and explore a bit?

In fact, Mama and Dada are buzzkills in all sorts of ways.

They don't like me tasting the plants, they don't like me chomping stones, they don't like me chewing the bark in my special potty place.

I mean come on!

They take all the fun out of being outside!

Still, I like the yard.  And getting out there is a piece of pie.  If I want to go out and play, all I have to do is pee in the house and next thing you know, I'm being carried outside like an Egyptian princess!

Maybe this new pack ain't so bad after all...

Licky licks,

Puppy Girl
